Another action packed weekend!
Nicole texted me that we actually ran 21 miles. Not 20. Woot (or not). I had been dumbfounded that my garmin didn’t match my planned route, that I had run before. Now I know why.
We went to our good friend Jeff and Kim’s wedding this weekend as well- here are some shots:
CAKE! It was amazing.Beautiful settings
We did some cooking too- some will be on the blog this week:
Charred peas with orange-jalapeno vinaigrette.
Roasted spring onions and radishes
Deep. Dark. Rich. Chocolate puddings.Last night’s dinner- roast chicken with the peas and radishes! Delicious!
Hope you all had a great weekend, too
Congrats on your good run!
And I LOL-ed over the photo booth pic. That is a keeper!!!! hahaha
The dinner looks fabulous – can’t wait to see the recipe.
We had a ton of fun doing that- there are a few more awesome ones!
Love the dress! How long did you roast the radishes? I haven’t eaten them in years but keep seeing/reading about them and think I need to try them again.
I will post my recipe this week- I put them in at 425 for 20 minutes or so. DELICIOUS! They get nice and mellow and sweet.
Awesome run!! So do you have one more 20 miler or was this your last one? My last will be this coming weekend.
I absolutely love your dress from the wedding!!! Are those cut-outs I see on the sides?!? So cute. If I could wear a fancy dress like that every day, I would. Too bad its not really appropriate for most occasions…..
They are cut outs! The back was mostly open. I am doing 20 next weekend and possibly the 5th as well. Undecided!
Looks like so much fun! Can’t wait to see what recipes you came up with too I don’t think I’ve ever run farther than I thought but I’m kind of obsessed with my garmin and wear it everywhere so it would have to lose signal or die or something.
Our garmins said we ran 20- but I knew it was longer- and Nicole verified it! Something must have been up with the satellites!
you looked gorgeous in that dress!!! I truly love the botton of it! MEOW!
Thank you! It was so much fun
