Some of my Favorite things!

First of all, dinner!  This is a leftovers pizza, using the Serious Eats no knead dough.  Dough gets mixed up the night before- and that’s that!  We split it in half (freeze the other half for another night).

We had leftover anti-pasti meats from Saturday (and leftover pesto)- so we made a pesto pizza with salami, prosciutto, mushrooms, fresh mozz, and jalapenos.  MMMMMM.  We do our pizza making at 550 degrees on a Baking Steel- http://bakingsteel.com/ .  You must purchase one (this is not a paid endorsement by any means!)-  pizza cooks in 7 minutes or so, you can literally make the crust as thin-thin-thin as you want and YOU CAN EAT IT WITH YOUR HANDS.  I am not lying to you right now.  I have even committed various pizza sins and totally coated it in “everything”- and it still cooks up crispy.  Miracles.DSCN2742DSCN2741Look!  It is almost heart shaped!

There are two cookie recipes that have made their way into my “every year” repertoire- and I feel the need to direct your attention to them.  I do not modify the recipes (though at some point I might take some photos of making them for funsies)- but if you only have time for one or two more cookies-  these are them!

As you can see- totally achievable.  Get the recipe here.

Next, Coconut Oatmeal Lace Cookies:
